Alison Morrow

I cover the environment and wildlife issues for KING 5, which basically means I get paid to do a lot of hiking with really fascinating people. It’s a tough job. I moved to Seattle from my home state of Florida a few years ago, but I’ve never felt more at home than when I’m atop a ridge in the North Cascades. I am inspired daily by the unsung heroes of Western Washington, who work tirelessly protecting our state's natural resources. It is my honor to work with them. I am willing to hike long distances in the snow for a chance to tell those stories, so if you have one, drop me a line at amorrow@king5.com.

Alexandra Johnston:

Alex trained at New York Film Academy in L.A. (Acting and hosting for camera) before returning to the UK to work at Louise Johnston Management looking after actors and actresses including Game of Thrones’ “Arya Stark” actress Maisie Williams. Alex works very closely with Maisie during international trips and press events. Having both an interest in film industry and the ocean Alex began documenting protests against captivity and slaughter and can be seen in the latest ‘Converse – Public Access campaign’ talking about her love of marine mammals.

Alex has also been a volunteer for ‘Ric O’Barry’s Dolphin Project’ for a number of years gaining even further more varied experience in working with the media, fundraising and event management.

In 2018 Alex established a Production Company and set out as Executive Producer of her first, ongoing, documentary based on the plight of the endangered Southern resident orca whales.
